Architect and lecturer in the scientific field of technical science, scientific branch of architectural design with a PHD in Architectural Heritage, Sanja Šaban has a strong background in state structures at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Physical Planning and as Head of the Department at the City Institute for Physical Planning. In addition to the above, for years she has actively participated in the elaboration of various development studies and programs and given presentations at numerous international expert workshops and scientific gatherings. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis on rural settlements. She has been a member of IFHP (International Federation for Housing and Planning) since 2006.
