Biography

Currently teaching town planning at the Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark, Henrik Stjernholm is an architect and a national and international speaker on Architectural Policy, based on his experience in the Vejle Municipality, first as a city planner and then in different leadership functions, developing the first Architectural Policy which was adopted in a city council in Denmark and in Scandinavia in 1997. During his activity, he has been dealing with master planning for the whole municipality, local urban planning, climate adaptation and sustainable solutions, city strategy, city-branding and policy for architectural development, urban space, urban renewal and strategy and he was responsible for many architectural competitions.
